A little about myself…
To try and give a better understanding of myself and what I provide to AnywhereFitness clients, here is a quick run-down of what I feel personal training is all about...

The relationship between trainer and client is one of constant development, starting with knowledge the trainer has acquired over many years as a fitness professional, as well as from the first point of contact with the new client.

Understanding the individuals needs, passions and drive in making such an important step is key, and as it is the first step it is often the most difficult. Many reasons can be to blame for this, including; low self image; uncertainty; embarrassment; lack of self worth and even lack of fitness - not forgetting the male ego.

With all of these issues and many more besides, it is vital to be honest and create trust in order for respect for each other to develop. With this in mind the trainer and client will gain the most out of their common purpose - which is to reach and pass the goals, dreams and aspirations of the client.

I approached Graham and asked him if he could help me in improving my fitness levels to get to the next stage up. I was regularly attending gym classes in a fitness club and had a reasonably high degree of overall fitness. As an amateur jump jockey, Graham assessed my specific requirements and built a bespoke program of exercises to improve my overall performance. At 45 I was really pleased that I was still able to significantly improve my technique and overall fitness levels with good guidance form Graham and his professional set up.

I have been racing cars for the last seven years, winning two British Championships and finishing fifth in the World Championships. I returned to karting earlier this year and quickly discovered that my fitness was an issue. Karting is very demanding sport, with a great deal of stress put on the drivers' bodies. Since I began working with Graham my overall fitness is much better, helping with my karting performance and daily life. Within just three weeks I was feeling a noticable difference, and have gone from strength to strength since.

I have been training with Graham for several years, 2-3 times a week. As I work in an office I find very little time in the week to exercise so I often go to see Graham at 6.30am. He is always full of energy and enthusiasm even if I am not at that time of day! Without Graham I wouldn't have the discipline to take regular exercise.

Not only does the exercise make me fitter,it also sets me up mentally for the days work ahead. If I can get through a challenging session with Graham I have the confidence to face any challenges that a day in the office brings!

My waistband has also reduced!

My name is Nicole; I am aged 48 and live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I lead a busy life with 2 children a large house and garden and a dog! I work part time in my husbands business and also spend several days a week on various voluntary jobs in Newcastle. My husband travels away on business frequently and consequently I am left holding the fort and running our active family life.

As a consequence of this I always had an excuse not to fit exercise into my hectic schedule and found myself gradually putting on weight, becoming less fit and increasingly more weary.

Graham Turner changed all this for me. He introduced me to a manageable exercise routine at home, was a fantastic motivator and within weeks of working with him I found myself with renewed energy, toned muscles I never knew I had and possessing far more energy.

From time to time, to keep the interest levels high, he changes the programme. I have worked with Graham over the last couple of years and as a result I have seen dramatic positive results in personal fitness, general condition and overall weight loss.

The main system or methodology employed is a unique mixture of TRX training in an outdoor environment. The approach has had a significant impact on both my levels of motivation and focus. The outdoor and mobile nature of the TRX system is most definitely "more then the sum of its parts" and offers valuable outdoor time for a individual who "enjoys" a traditional office based work life.
